Atlanta, GA—Monday, May 2nd, 2022 — Today Feminist Women’s Health Center (FWHC) announces the launch of its abortion-forward campaign, Abortion Care with Love, which will include colorful abortion-affirming billboard advertising, street art, and radio ads. The campaign serves to spread awareness that abortion is still legal and safe in Georgia, and that FWHC is committed to providing this essential care in Georgia.
“In this moment when abortion access is under intense attack, Georgians need safe and compassionate abortion care now more than ever,” said FWHC Director of Communications and Development MK Anderson (they/them). “We are excited and proud to launch this proactive campaign to remind Georgia residents that the decision to have or grow a family should be theirs alone, and that healthcare providers like FWHC are here to support them, always.”
FWHC collaborated with local Black and queer artist Makeda Lewis who developed illustrations for the campaign. Abortion Care with Love will run through the end of May, 2022.
