What To Expect

Our 2-story brick building has convenient, private on-site parking but on busy days our lot quickly fills up and more parking is available on the street. Entrance to the clinic for ALL appointments is at the top/back of the building on the second floor. For more information on what to expect on the day of your abortion care appointment, see below.

You may see protesters outside the driveway. We recommend that you do not engage or talk to them. Our clinic escorts will be on site to direct you to a parking spot and/or walk you from your car to the clinic entrance.

Your safety and security is of utmost importance to us. In addition to our clinic escorts, we have a professional security personnel on site to ensure the safety of all our patients, staff and clinic.

While we welcome you to bring a support person, due to limited space, we ask that you limit your accompanying person to one (1). Should you need to bring more than one person, please inform our health educator at the time of making your appointment. Due to security concerns, accompanying persons will be required to present ID and may not be allowed in certain parts of the clinic.

If you chose to go through the procedure under anesthesia or to take pain medication you must have a responsible person over 18 years of age to accompany you and  to drive you after your appointment. In this case, you also can take an Uber or Lyft only if you have a friend or family member (over 18 years of age) to ride along with you.

Every patient is unique and we strive to give them the individualized care and attention that they need. While we do our best to remain on schedule there may be delays due to the individualized nature of our services. Additionally, your procedure can be longer for a pregnancy that is 12 weeks or above. In these cases, your appointment may be 6-9 hours long. Please be prepared to wait and inform your accompanying person/s accordingly.

Please be sure to bring along government issued photo identification on the day of your appointment. You will also need to bring supporting documents if you plan to use medicaid, student or military discounts.
