Co-founders Lynn Thogersen and Lynne Randall opened Feminist Center for Reproductive Liberation (formerly Feminist Women’s Health Center) in 1976 with a fearless vision and $200 loan from their mothers.
Born out of self-help groups (à la Fried Green Tomatoes), Feminist Center matured from a health center to a pillar of the reproductive justice movement known for our compassionate healthcare, community building, and legislative advocacy.
This year marks Feminist Center for Reproductive Liberation’s 50th anniversary, and we are commemorating the moment all year-long!
