Donate a Car, Trailer or Boat

First thank you for considering a tax-deductible gift in this unique way.

If you are interested in donating a vehicle to the Feminist Women's Health Center (FWHC), we wanted to make it simple and easy for you as well as to keep our costs minimized in handling this type of donation - so that your gift is as large as it can be!

FWHC has entered into an agreement with a vehicle donation agency called "Donation Line." This is the way it works:

• you contact Donation Line and discuss arrangement for pick up of your donation;
• you designate your gift to the Feminist Women's Health Center;
• Donation Line physically collects the autos, boats, motor homes, and RV's;
• Donation Line then provides donors with the charitable gift IRS tax receipt; and

Donation Line processes the cars into cash via a licensed dealer at auctions or sells directly to used car dealers.

The net proceeds of this transaction are then forwarded to the Feminist Women's Health Center after Donation Line deducts a commission fee and any possible towing charge or auction fee along with a final statement itemizing the net proceeds.
