Workshop Schedule

We offer a variety of workshops to build skills on grassroots organizing, advocacy or other issues as well as provide an opportunity for leadership development. Please check out our Volunteer Opportunities and Internship Program for other opportunities for involvement. .

The following represent descriptions of workshops to be scheduled.

Fundraising Event Training

Date: TBA.
Description: Interested in learning about and increasing your skills in event planning, marketing, & fundraising? Join us in this free workshop and gives you the option of working on a Happy Hour fundraising event coming up in March. This fundraiser needs YOU to be a success!

Focus: Reproductive Justice Advocacy Training

Date: Wed., June 2nd and July 28th - 6 to 8:30 pm
Description: Our complimentary introductory workshop to get you involved in reproductive justice! Learn about current politics, the history of reproductive justice, and a primer on grassroots organizing skills. Empower yourself today!

Tabling & Outreach Volunteer Training

Date: Tues., June 29th, Wed., July 7th, and Wed., July 21st
Description: Join our dedicated group of tabling & outreach volunteers as we gear up for festival season! Once you attend this training, you'll be eligible to attend & staff booths at some of the biggest festivals in ATL!

For Spanish Speakers: Clinic Interpreter Training

Date: TBA
Description: Interested in being a interpreting and translating for our Spanish-speaking clients. If so, attend this training! If you miss this one, the next one is in 3 months. Click here for an application. Volunteers are individually scheduled and a 3 month commitment is required, and must be available on one of our clinic days, either a Tuesday, Friday, or Saturday.
