Pregnancy Termination for Fetal Anomaly
The Feminist Women's Health Center's Cliff
Valley Clinic has established a supportive Pregnancy Termination
Program due to Fetal Anomaly to help women and their families
who have made the difficult decision to terminate their pregnancy
due to a fetal anomaly.
At our Cliff Valley Clinic, we understand
that if you have received the devastating news that your baby has
a genetic or life-impairing condition, it is quite overwhelming.
We have designed our Program to help you and your family get through
this very difficult time in your lives. For more than 30 years,
the Feminist Women's Health Center has been nationally recognized
for our excellence, safety, and compassion in abortion medicine.
With our Fetal Anomaly Program, we recognize the need for
additional counseling, emotional support, privacy, and coordination
with the referring physician.
Recognizing that you and your family are
facing a tough and heart-breaking decision, we offer our kindness
and support.
Our Pregnancy Termination due to Fetal
Anomaly Program includes the following:
- Special private counseling to help you and
your family deal with various stages of the grieving process and
different ways of honoring and remembering the baby you love;
- One trained and sensitive staff person who
coordinates all aspects of the medical and emotional care;
- A private environment for you and your family
during your stay at the clinic;
A list of counseling and support group referrals; and
- Coordination of arrangements for further
genetic testing, if needed.
We want you to know that our physicians,
nurses, and counselors are dedicated to not only providing excellent
medical care, but also to honor the loss you and your family has
sustained.
When you call for information regarding
our program, ask to speak directly to Robin. She will answer all
your questions and guide you through the program. Our phone numbers
